ATTWiFiManager is the web address you need to access if you want to log in to the AT&T router admin panel. When you reach the admin panel, you will be able to change the basic and advanced settings of the router.
How to Log in to AttWiFiManager?
To log in to your AT&T router, you need to perform a few basic steps. If this is your first time, you can follow the steps below:
Step 1: Connect to the Router’s Network
Just like any other router, logging in to the AT&T router via AT&T Wi-Fi Manager requires your device to be connected to the router. You can do it via Ethernet cable or WiFi connection. Just make sure that whatever method you choose, there is a proper and strong network.

Step 2: Open a Browser
Once you ensure that the connection to the router is proper, open a browser on your device and type attwifimanager in the address bar. Verify that the spelling is correct, then press Enter. This action should take you to the login page. If nothing happens and you get stuck, you may also use the IP address 192.16.1.1.

Make sure that Caps Lock is not on in your keyboard, as the password is case sensitive.

Step 4: Access the Router’s Web Panel
You will know that your login is successful once you are taken to the web admin panel. You will see the router settings, and you can manage them according to your needs. You can start with the WLAN settings so you can protect your WiFi network from hackers and freeloaders.

How to Change WiFi Name and Password
When you finally log in to your AT&T router via attwifimanager, you can now modify the WiFi name and password. You can create a strong password that no one can guess in order to ensure your network’s safety. To change the password and SSID, here are the steps to perform:

- Log in to the router’s web admin panel.
- On the dashboard, select Home Network > Wireless .
- Enter your new SSID name in the Network Name (SSID) field.
- Enter your new WiFi password in the Key field.
- Click Apply.
Note: The steps may vary depending on the model of your AT&T router.
How to Reset an AT&T Router
If you encounter login issues, such as incorrect username and password, you may reset your router to factory settings to resolve the problem. However, resetting your router will erase all modifications you have made in the past, so be sure to save any important data.
- Locate the reset button on the side or on the back of the router. The location varies depending on the model, but you’ll easily see it as it is typically labeled as RESET.
- Press and hold the reset button for at least 10 seconds using a pin.
- When you notice the light flashes, release the button and just wait for the router to reboot completely.
- When the indicator lights are stable, the reset is done.
Common Login Issues and Solutions
Here are some login issues and solutions you should know to save time and headaches during the login process.
- Wrong username and password: You can resolve this issue by visiting the default details on the router’s back. If you have changed them before, then resetting your router is the best thing to do.
- Forgotten Login Credentials: Just press and hold the reset button for 10-15 seconds, and the original settings will come back and let you proceed to log in.
- Wrong IP Address: You can check the IP address on the back of the router. Typically, the IP address used for the AT&T router is 192.168.1.1.
- Browser Issues: Sometimes clearing cache and cookies on the browser helps, or even switching to more useful browsers like Chrome or Firefox. Even turning off some content filtering tools, such as ad blockers, can also help.
- Outdated Firmware: It may also happen that when login credentials are entered, they are prevented from signing in due to outdated router firmware. Reset the router and update the router’s firmware to resolve the issue.
