Logging in to your Aussie broadband is crucial in managing your network. To log in, do the steps below:
Step 1: Connect your device to the router.
Before you log in, you should make sure that your PC is connected to the router. You can use a wireless or a wired connection. An Ethernet connection is better, so we recommend that you use it.
Step 2: Open a browser on your device.
On your browser, type the IP address in the address bar. It could be 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1, depending on your router brand. After that, hit Enter on your keyboard.

For example, we used the Asus router as it is one of the popular Aussie routers.
Step 4: You will be logged in successfully.
After you have provided the correct login details on the login page, you will be taken to the admin panel. You can now change the settings you think are needed to protect your WiFi network.
Changing the SSID and Password of Aussie Broadband
To ensure that your network is safe from hackers, you must change the WiFi password and SSID name. If this is your first time doing it, here are the steps to follow:
- Log in to the router settings by following the steps above.
- On the admin panel, select Wireless > Basic Settings.
- In the SSID field, enter your new network name and click Apply/Save.
- To change your password, select Wireless > Security Settings.
- In the WPA/WAPI passphrase field, enter your new password and click Apply/Save.
Note: These steps are general, but typically the same for each router brand.
How to Reset Your Aussie Route Broadband
Knowing how to reset your Aussie broadband can solve many issues, like forgotten passwords, connection issues, and firmware issues. The process is much easier than logging in, so don’t worry. Here are the steps:
- Look for the reset button on the back of the broadband.
- Using a pin or any pointed tool, press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds.
- When you notice that the indicator lights flash, release the button.
- Wait for the indicator lights to be stable and solid, indicating that the router has been completely restored to its factory default settings.
