BT Hub manager is the web interface of your BT Hub router. When you log in at http://192.168.1.254 you will be able to manage your BT Hub settings including SSID name, WiFi password and other essential settings to improve and protect your WiFi network.
How to Log in to BT Hub Manager
In order to reach the web interface of your BT Hub device you have to log in first by following the steps below:
Step 1: Connect to the BT Hub’s Network
To make sure that your experience with the log in process will be connection issue free, you can use an Ethernet cable. This provide a more stable and reliable internet connection that WiFi. However, if an Ethernet cable is not available for you ensure that your WiFi network is not congested and it will work just fine.

Step 2: Open a Browser
Next step is open a browser of your choice, type the IP address 192.168.1.254 in the address bar then hit Enter.

Step 3: You’ll be Taken to the Web Panel
After the IP address successfully accessed, you will be taken to the Hub interface. You will find the Wireless settings here as well as the number of devices connected. Also, you may perform a performance test and tweak the Advanced settings too.

How to Change WiFi Name and Password
One of the most important settings to change is the Wireless settings. This is especially true if your hub device is new as it comes with the default WiFi name and password. To change these settings, simple follow these steps:

- Login to the hub settings.
- On the dashboard, select Wireless > Change Settings.
- Enter the admin password that you can find on the back of the BT Hub device.
- In the Network Name field, enter your new SSID name.
- In the Security password field, enter your new WiFi password.
- Click Save.
How to Reset Your BT Hub Manager
If you encounter issues with your BT Hub Manager, you can perform a factory reset.

- Locate the reset button on the back of the device.
- Use a pin or a pen to press the reset button for 5 seconds.
- After 5 seconds, release the button and wait for 90 seconds until the device fully reboot.
- That’s it! You have now reset your BT Hub manager.
Troubleshooting Common Issues with BT Hub Manager
To troubleshoot common issues with the BT Hub Manager, you can follow the troubleshooting tips below:
- Check for any physical obstructions that could be blocking the Wi-Fi signal. If there are any, reposition the router to ensure optimal coverage throughout my home.
- Perform a power cycle on the BT Hub by unplugging it from the power source, waiting for about 30 seconds, and plugging it back in. This simple step often resolves minor connectivity issues by resetting the device.
- For connection problems, check if they are within range of the Wi-Fi signal. If not, move the devices closer to the router or adding a Wi-Fi extender to amplify the signal strength.
- For neighboring networks issue, change the Wi-Fi channel of the BT Hub manually. Selecrt a less congested channel, I optimize the Wi-Fi connection and minimize interference.
- If the issue persists, it is best to update the firmware to maintain optimal performance and security.
