Converge router login allows you to access your router’s admin panel whenever you need to change or configure some settings in your Huawei, FiberHome, ZTE, and Cisco modems. When you log in at 192.168.100.1, you can change the SSID name, WiFi password, and other default settings.

How to Login to Converge Router

Converge routers have the same login process. If you own one of the brands of routers mentioned above, you can follow these steps:

Step 1: Connect the Device to the Router

Whether you use a PC, laptop, or mobile device, make sure it is connected to the router by any means, wireless or wired. If wired, connect the ethernet cable between the device’s ethernet port and the router’s LAN port. For wireless users, make sure the WiFi is within the range to provide a strong and stable signal.

Step 2: Open the Browser on your Device

On your device, open your browser, type 192.168.100.1 in the address bar, and press Enter. That IP address will be your gateway to access your router’s admin settings, so make sure the numbers are correct.

Step 3: Enter your Username and Password

When you are taken to the login page, enter your username and password in the fields. Make sure to provide the correct login details, then click Login. For the default login details, you can check the back of the router.

Step 4: You will be Logged in to the Admin Panel

Once you enter the correct login details successfully, you will finally be logged in to the admin panel. You can now set up your wireless router and change the default settings to enhance and protect your network.

How to Change SSID Name and Password

Here are the steps you can follow when changing the WiFi password and SSID name of your converge router. Choose your router below:

Huawei router (EG8145V5):

1. On your browser, type 192.168.100.1 in the address bar, then press Enter.
2. Enter your username and password in the fields given on the login page, then click Login.
3. On the admin panel, select WLAN>WLAN Basic.
4. In the SSID Name field, enter your new network name.
5. In the WPA PreShared Key field, enter your new password.
6. Click Apply.

For ZTE:

1. Enter 192.168.1.1 in the address bar of your browser, then hit enter.
2. Enter your username and password on the login page, then click Login.
3. In the admin panel, select Network>WLAN>SSID Settings.
4. Choose between Radio 2.4 or 5G.
5. In the SSID Name field, enter your new SSID name.
6. Select Submit to save changes.

To change the WiFi password:

1. Select Network>WLAN>Security.
2. Enter your new password in the WPA Passphrase field. Create a strong password by combining numbers, letters, and special characters.
3. Click Submit to save changes.

How to Reset Your Converge Router Password

Resetting your password can be done through the physical device. To perform it, you can follow these steps:

1. Locate the reset button labeled RESET at the back of the router.
2. Press and hold for 10 to 15 seconds until the lights go off, the release.
3. The lights will flash until they become steady, indicating the router is done resetting.

Converge Router Login Issues and Solutions

While the process of logging in to your Converge router is simple and easy, you may sometimes face some issues. Here are the common ones you may expect:

• The site can’t be reached: You will see this message on the screen of your device if you are not connected to the router you are accessing. Connect your device to the route using wired or wireless to fix this issue.
• Wrong username and password: You won’t be able to log in if your login credentials are wrong. Check for the correct details at the back of your router. But if you have made changes in the past, then resetting your router is the way to go.
• IP address not working: You cannot access the login page if the IP address is not supported by your converge router. 192.168.100.1 or 192.168.1.1 are commonly used by these routers, so make sure to double-check before hitting the Enter key.
• Too many login attempts: Avoid entering the same wrong login details on the login page, as you will be disabled from logging in for 60 seconds. If this happens, just wait for the 60 seconds to pass and try logging in again with the correct username and password.
