Once opened, in the address bar, enter the default router IP address “192.168.1.1” or “192.168.1.254”  and press Enter to proceed.

You can find the login details from the printed sticker on the back of the router. Typically, the default username is “admin”. However, if you updated the login details in the settings, you will use your personalized login details.

How to Change WiFi Password and SSID Name on Cosmote Router

1. On the router settings menu bar, select Local Network.
2. Select WLAN > WLAN Basic > WLAN SSID Configuration on the page information.

3. Enter the new Wi-Fi password in the Password (Κωδικός πρόσβασης) field.
4. Click Εφαρμογή changes.

How to Reset a Cosmote Router

1. Power on the router first and plug it in before the reset.
2. Prepare a paper clip to press the reset button on the back of the router.
3. Press the reset button for 10-15 seconds.
4. Release the reset button, and the light indicators will blink.

• Login Page Error: In this case, you are using a different WiFi connection contrast to your default router’s IP address. This is the reason why Cosmote blocked your access to the login page to prevent unauthorized attempts. If you wish to continue logging in, disconnect your WiFi connection to the different WiFi connection and switch to the Cosmote router’s IP address.
• Multiple Login Attempts Error: If you encounter this error message, there are cases where you have entered the wrong login credentials many times. To solve these issues, wait for about 30 seconds before typing your login details, and make sure you input the correct details this time.
• Login page not loading: A good WiFi connection is required to continue the login process. Cast a WiFi signal in the best location near your router and observe for changes in the loading page. If the issue still happens, there are instances of routine maintenance of the router.
• Incorrect IP Address: Ensure you entered the Cosmote default IP address “192.168.1.1” or “192.168.1.254”. If the incorrect IP message still appears, consider double checking your Cosmote router for the correct IP address.
