How to Login to Digi Router

If you want to set up your wireless router, you need to access its admin panel. You can easily do it by following these simple steps:

Step 1: Connect your Device to the Router

Make sure that your PC or laptop is connected to the router. You can connect to the router using an ethernet cable or WiFi. Its up to you which works to you best.

Step 2: Open your Browser

Open your favorite browser and in the address bar, enter 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.100.1. After ensuring that the IP address is correct you can hit the Enter key.

Step 3: Enter your Login Credentials

Once you are taken to the login page, enter your username and password then click the Login button. If you don’t know your login details, you can check the router’s rear panel.

Step 4: You will be Logged in to the Admin Page

When you successfully log in, you will see tabs and settings on the administration page. Now, you can change the important and default settings to protect your WiFi network.

How to Change SSID Name and Password

To make sure your network is safe from those who want to use it without your permission, change your WiFi password and network name. Here are the steps you can follow:

For Digi ZTE ZXHN F618:

1. Open your browser and type 192.168.1.1 in the address bar.
2. On the login page, enter your username and password, then click Login.
3. On the admin page, select Network>WLAN>SSID Settings.
4. Enter your new network name in the SSID Name field.
5. Click Submit.

To change the WiFi password:

1. Select Security.
2. Enter your new password in the WPA Passphrase field.
3. Click Submit.

How to Reset Your Digi Router

Performing a factory reset on your Digi router will erase all the configurations you have made in your router settings. If you have forgotten your password, this is the best way to do it. To reset your router:

1. Look for the reset button on the back of your router.
2. Using a straightened object, press and hold down the reset button for 5 to 10 seconds.
3. You will see the LEDs on the front of the router flashing, indicating that the router is being reset.
4. The router will reboot once the procedure is complete.

Digi Router Login Issues and Solutions

If this is your first time logging in to your Digi router, you may not be aware of the ogi issues you may sometimes face. Here are the common ones and their fixes:

• Wrong username and password: If you enter the wrong login details, you will not be able to access the administration page. You can see the default login details at the back of the router. if you have changed them and cannot remember, you need to reset your router.
• Too many login attempts: If you reach the limit of entering the wrong details, you will be locked out from entering your username and password for 60 seconds. Wait for the time to pass and try logging again. If you forgot your password, reset the router.
• The site cannot be reached: You will face this issue if your device is not connected to the router. Make sure the WiFi has a good signal, and the ethernet cable is working and linked properly between the device and the router.
• The page does not load: If you enter the IP address and nothing happens, this means that your IP address is incorrect and not associated with our router. Search for the default router IP addresses online to confirm.
• IP conflicts: While this issue doesn’t happen oftentimes, you can solve this by restarting all the devices so they can automatically acquire new IP addresses.
