But if you have changed them in the past and forgotten, you may need to reset your router. To do this, locate the reset button of your router. Press and hold using a pointed object, then release after 10 seconds.
- Cannot open the IP address: If you cannot load the page when entering the IP address, make sure that you are entering the correct numbers. Also, make sure your PC is connected to the router you are accessing.
- Too many login attempts: This happens when you enter the wrong login details many times. Sometimes, you just need to wait after 60 seconds to enter your username and pass again.
- Outdated firmware: This issue can block accessing the router settings so make sure to always update your firmware. You can check if there is an update in your router’s web interface.
Comparison of Excitel Login to Other Router Logins
There are several differences and similarities found when comparing Excitel router login processes with other routers. Usually, Excitel’s login interface is simple and user-friendly as well: it can be accessed using a web browser by typing in a given IP address, usually 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1. Simple! Like other routers such as Netgear, TP-Link, and D-Link, it uses the same IP addresses and the same web-based login portals to access them. However, how shortcuts operate is dependent on its firmware design and users’ requirements of what they need it to do for them.
