How to Login to Genexis Router
Logging in to your Genexis router can bring many benefits, including network protection, modification, and more. If you want to do these things with your router, you need to log in. To perform it:
Step 1: Connect your Device to the Router
First, you need to see if the ethernet cable is properly connected to the router’s LAN port. If using a wireless connection, confirm if the WiFi is providing a solid signal and your device is connected to it.
Step 2: Open your Browser
The next step is to open your browser and type http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar. Make sure to enter the correct IP address because you cannot proceed with login if there is any mistake. When certain that all details are correct, press Enter.
Step 3: Enter your Login Credentials
The third step is entering your username and password in the fields given on the login page. Again, make sure that everything is typed correctly. For default login details, the username is “admin,” and the password is the MAC address, all in capital letters. After entering the login details, click User Login.
Step 4: You Can Access the Admin Panel
Once you have entered the correct login credentials, you will be taken to the admin panel. You can now access all the router settings and start configuring them.

Login Issues and Troubleshooting
You may sometimes face some issues when logging in to your Genxis router. Here are the common login issues and their resolution.
- Incorrect Usernames and Passwords: Try another browser like Chrome, Firefox, or Edge if your web browser does not load the login page correctly. Also, clear cache and cookies from your browser or try incognito/private mode if that doesn’t help. You can also reset your router as your last resort.
- Unresponsive Router: If a page fails to open without any loading sign whatsoever, it could mean that the router isn’t responding. Disconnecting it from the power supply for about 30 seconds and then plugging it back in again can solve this problem. After restarting the router, try logging in again.
- Wrong IP Address: Mis-typing an IP address on your browser might make it impossible to open a webpage for the Genexis router’s login page. Common default IPs assigned for Genexis routers are 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1, respectively, so always check twice before typing an IP address.
- Access Blocked by Firewall or Security Software: Security software such as firewalls or antivirus programs may block you from accessing the login page. To resolve this temporarily, disable the firewall/antivirus, then try logging in again If possible, configure software in order to allow communication with a router IP address.
- Outdated Firmware: Logging into it can be problematic if its firmware is outdated. Visit either the manufacturer’s site, which will direct you on how to update manually, or your router’s admin interface if you can access the login page.
- IP Address Conflict: If no webpage in the login page category opens to you, there could be an IP address conflict within your network. Sometimes this problem can be solved by simply restarting both the router and your device.
