Giga.cube lets you access the admin panel of a Giga cube router. When you log in to http://giga.cube, you can change the SSID name, WiFi password, and other default settings of the router.
How to Log in to your Giga Cube
Setting up the GigaCube is the first thing you need to do before logging in. Here’s the step-by-step guide you can follow:
Step 1: Insert SIM Card

The GigaCube comes with a little hatch at the bottom or back (depends on your model). Just open it up and slide the SIM card in. You don’t have to use weird tools, just your fingers, and snap it shut.
Step 2:
Next, plug the GigaCube into the wall socket.

As soon as it powers up, you will notice a few lights start blinking. Wait for a minute to settle down, as it is waking up and finding a signal.

Step 4: Connect your Device to the Router
Connect your PC, laptop, or tablet to the router by using an Ethernet cable or a WiFi network. Regardless of what you prefer, make sure the connection is proper to avoid login issues.

Step 5: Open a Browser
On the browser of your device, type http://giga.cube or 192.168.1.1 in the address bar, then hit Enter. Make sure to enter the URL correctly, as any mistake will cause login issues.

Step 6: Enter your Password
On the login page, enter your Giga Cube password and click Anmelden. Check the box to save password, so whenever you login you don’t have to type it every time.

Step 7: Explore the Router Settings
After a successful login, you can now explore the Giga cube settings according to your preference. You can set Parental Controls, Guest Networks, and most especially change your SSID name and WiFi password.

How to Change SSID Name and WiFi Password
To customize your WiFi network, you can do it by logging in to the web panel of your Giga Cube modem. From logging in to it, you will be able to change your WiFi password and SSID name to protect your WiFi network. It is recommended to create a strong password for your router— who wants to remember something like “Gigacube4F7G8D”? To get started, follow the steps below:
- Just open a web browser and type in the IP address on the sticker.
- When taken to the login page, enter the default login info, which was also on the sticker, and click Login.
- Look for the WiFi settings.
- In the SSID name field, enter your new SSID name.
- In the Password field, enter your new WiFi password.
- Click Save or OK.
How to Reset a Giga Cube Router

- Locate the reset button at the bottom of the router.
- Press and hold it for 10 to 15 seconds, then let go.
- The indicator lights will flash, indicating the router is being reset.
- Wait until all the lights get solid and stable, and that’s it!
Giga Cube Login Issues and Troubleshooting
Sometimes, you can face issues that you can resolve with the right solutions. Here are the common ones and how you can fix them:
- Incorrect IP Address Entered: To fix this, enter the proper IP address into the address bar of your browser before hitting the Enter key on your keyboard.
- Forgotten password: You can try the default login details, written on the back of the router. But if you have changed them before and cannot remember, perform a “hard reset” by holding the reset button for 10-15 seconds.
- Connection Issues: Ensure your device is connected to the router network. If you are still unable to reach the login page after restarting the system, try rebooting the router.
- Browser Compatibility Problems: Change the browser to Google Chrome or any popular browser, or clear the cache of the net browser. You can also try other browsers, like Internet Explorer, Safari, or Mozilla Firefox.
- Outdated or Corrupt Firmware: To address this, reach your Internet Service Provider or open the Hitron website to update the firmware.
