Step 1: Plugin the Extender to the Power Source

Step 4: You will be taken to the Setup Page
After you enter your username and password correctly, you can access the web interface of the Linksys extender. Tick the box for End User License Agreement and the box for Automatic Software Updates. Its up to you if you will read the Terms and Conditions, but we recommend you to do to be aware of all the agreements. After reading and ticking the boxes, click Start Setup.
Step 5: Select How you Want to Use the Extender

Step 7: You can access the Extended Network
On this page, you can see the network you extended. You will notice that the SSID names have added a word, which is “This means that those networks have been extended. Click Next to move on to the next page.
Step 8: Check the Placement Status of the Extender
On this page, you will see whether the extender is too far, just right, or too close to the router and the devices. After making sure the placement is just right, click Next.
Step 9: Secure your Linksys Extender
You can secure your range extender by creating an admin password to it. Make sure to create a strong password to protect the WiFi network. After creating a password, click Next.
The Last Step: Enter your Email Address
The last step is to enter your email address to receive updates about your Linksys extender. You can enter your email or skip this step. Just click skip or Next, depending on your choice.

Common Issues When Setting up Linksys Extender
