Login Issues and Solutions with MT-Link Router
Sometimes, the login experience is not always a breeze, as you may encounter some issues. Here are the common ones and how you can fix them:
- Incorrect username and password: Before you log in, make sure to check the back of the router for the default login details. But if you have changed the login details already and have forgotten, you need to reset your router.
- Too many login attempts: You will be locked out when you enter the incorrect login details multiple times. To fix this, just wait for some time and try to log in again, but make sure to use the correct username and password. If you can’t remember your password, the best thing to do is reset your router.
- The site cannot be reached: You cannot reach the admin panel if your device is not connected to the router. Double-check that the ethernet cable is securely and properly connected. Also, make sure the WiFi network is correct if you prefer to use a wireless connection.
- IP address issue: If the IP address is not working, you probably entered the wrong series of numbers. Also, make sure the IP address is associated with your router by checking the back of the router or searching for default router IP addresses online.
