Multilaser router login lets you access the router’s administration panel to configure its settings. When you log in at http://192.168.0.1, you can change the WiFi password SSID name and set up other router’s default settings.
How to Login to Multilaser Router
To set up your wireless router, you need to be logged in to the admin panel. But if this is your first time doing it, do not worry; you only need to take a few steps.
Step 1: Connect your Device to the Router
Before logging in, make sure that whatever device you use is connected to the router. For a wired connection, use an ethernet cable to link the device and the router. If you prefer to use WiFi, the connection should be strong.
Step 2: Open your Browser
After making sure that your device has an internet connection coming from the Multilaser router, you can now open your browser. It can be Chrome, Edge, or Safari. In the address bar, type 192.168.0.1 and the press the Enter key on your keyboard.
Step 3: Enter your Login Credentials
You will be taken to the login page after you enter the right IP address on your browser. In the field, enter your username and password carefully. If you are not sure what to enter, you can check the back of the router for the default login details.
Step 4: You will be Logged in to the Admin Panel
If you have entered the correct login details on the login page, you will be taken to the admin page. There, you will see the admin interface comprised of tabs and settings that you can change to protect your WiFi network and improve your browsing experience.
How to Change SSID Name and Password
One of the privileges of logging in to your router is the ability to change the WiFi password and network name. Here are the steps you can follow:
- Open your browser and type 192.168.0.1 in the address bar. Double-check if the IP address is correct, then hit Enter.
- Please enter your username and password in the fields on the login page and click the Login button.
- In the admin pane, select Configuracoes Basicas de rede Sem Fio.
- Enter your new network name in the SSID Primario.
- Click OK to save changes.
To change the WiFi password:
- In the admin panel, select Configuracao de Seguranca para Rede Sem Fio.
- Enter your new password in the Chave de Seguranca field.
- Click OK.
How to Reset Your Multilaser Router
If you want to log in to your router but unfortunately forgot your password, you can log in back again by resetting it to the factory default. To do it:
- Locate the reset button on your router’s rear panel.
- When found, press and hold it for 10 seconds, then let go.
- The lights will show up, and your router will be restored to its factory settings.
Note: Make sure to reconfigure the settings again right after resetting your router to protect your WiFi network from unauthorized access.
Multilaser Router Login Issues and Solutions
Is having trouble accessing your account on your Multilaser router? Cove yourself; it is something that can be resolved most of the times with a few steps.
- The page doesn’t load: Some secondary IPs, also called the IPs where users log in, are correct most often. The IP address of relatively common Molilaser routers is usually ‘192.168.0.1’ or ‘192.168.1.1.’ Most users type this address on the address bar of their web browsers. If that does not help, be sure that your device is connected to the router through ethernet or wireless connection.
- Browser issues: There are also specific issues that are related to the browser cache. Clear the cache or log in using a different browser/device.
- Password forgotten: In case you have lost all credentials or for some reason nothing is efficient, there is the pleasure of restoring the factory settings for the router. To do this, locate the reset switch (usually on the rear part of the router) and press & hold it for 10 seconds. Bear in mind however this will wipe all the content and you will need to redo your network.
- Wrong username and password: It is common for Multilaser routers to have admin as both the default username and the password for both. In that case, look for stickers on the router, or syudy the documents provided with the device.
- Old firmware: Router login issues can occur with the old firmware. Check the Multilaser website to see if any such updates are present for your router model to avoid such problems.
