You cannot log in if your device is not connected to the Darbox Orange router. So, before anything else, check if the ethernet cable is linked properly. If you are using wireless, make sure that your WiFi is working and stable.
Step 2: Open your Browser

Step 3: Enter your Login Credentials
When you successfully load the page, the login page will appear. Fill out the fields with your username and password and click OK.
For default login details, you can check the back of your router.
Step 4: You will be Logged in to the Admin Panel
After you click OK on the login page, you will be taken to the admin panel, where you can do many things, like changing your WiFi password, modifying your SSID name, and setting up other router settings.
How to Change SSID Name and Password
To protect your WiFi network, you should create a strong password and change your SSID name. This is because when the modem or router is new, it has the default settings that are available for online search. This makes your network vulnerable to threats and unauthorized access. To change your login details, follow these steps:
- Open your browser, type 192.168.1.1 in the address bar, then hit Enter.
- When taken to the login page, input your username and password, then click OK.
- Select Réseaux Wi-Fi > Paramètres Wi-Fi.
- Enter your new Wi-Fi Network Name in the Nom du Wi-Fi (SSID) field.
- Enter your new Wi-Fi Password in the Mot de passe du Wi-Fi field.
- Click Enregistrer.

Resetting your Darbox Orange router returns the settings of your router to factory default. So, if you forgot your password, you can easily log in again. To reset your router:
- Prepare a paperclip or any pointed object.
- Locate the reset button at the back of your tour. It is typically a small hole.
- Using the paperclip, press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds, then let go.
- When the LEDs blinks, it means that your router is reset and rebooting.
Login Issues and Troubleshooting
Here are some issues you may experience when you log in to your Orange Darbox router and how to troubleshoot them.
- Wrong Username or Password: If your username and password are incorrect, you cannot process the login page, so make sure you have the right username and password. You can find it on the back of the router. But if you have changed them and forgotten to reset your router to factory settings, pressing and holding its reset button for around 10 seconds is a must.
- Conflicting IP Addresses: If your other devices are using the same IP address, it can also block access to your admin panel. For this issue, make sure that your device is connected to the Darbox Orange Router network and enter the correct IP address, 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1.
- Router Firmware Problems: Login issues may be due to outdated firmware; it is important, therefore, to check on any available firmware updates from Darbox Orange Router’s website and then follow the given directions in updating its firmware that can solve login issues, among others.
- Network Connection Issues: Check whether this router has been properly connected to the internet; confirm all cables are correctly plugged in as well as restart both modem plus router by unplugging them for half a minute before plugging them back again, thus giving them enough time after which login afresh once fully restarted.
Darbox Orange Login Vs. Other Router Logins
Darbox Orange Router’s login process is similar to that of other popular routers like Netgear, TP-Link, Linksys, and ASUS, with a few exceptions. Like all the routers, Darbox Orange usually utilizes the default login details such as “admin” for both username and password where it can be accessed via common IP addresses like 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 Some other routers such as Netgear and The Tp-link have different URLs such as routerlogin.net or tplinkwifi.net so that users can easily access them.
In contrast to Darbox Orange, which requires manual firmware updates, brands like Netgear and Linksys often provide automatic updates among themselves. Browser compatibility is generally broad across all routers, but Darbox Orange may not be friendly to old browsers. In addition, most of the other routers, including Darbox Orange, feature hard reset options whereby users are required to hold the reset button for about 5 seconds. Only a number of these routers also have smart setup wizards aimed at making configuration easier. Knowing these slight differences can assist users in managing and troubleshooting their routers appropriately.
