Prolink Router Login lets you access the admin panel of your Prolink router. When you log in at http://192.168.123.254 or http://192.168.1.1, you will be able to change the SSID name, WiFi password, and other default settings of the router.
How to Log in to Prolink Router
When you log in to your Prolink router, you can do many things, like changing the WiFi password to a more personalized one that no one can guess. Also, you can give your WiFi a name that your household can easily recognize and connect to. Aside from these, you can configure both basic and advanced settings that can lead to a faster and protected network. To help you get started, here are the steps you can follow:
Step 1: Connect the Device to the Network
You need to connect the device to the router first, regardless of the device you prefer to use. You can connect in two ways: via a wired or wireless connection. You may find it more convenient to connect via WiFi, but if there are a lot of devices in your household, you may need to disconnect some of them first to ensure you won’t have a problem with the connection. If you have an Ethernet cable, it is best to use it over WiFi so you can have a more stable and reliable connection.

Step 2: Enter the IP Address
Now that your device is connected to the router’s network, you can open any browser on your device. While you can use any, it will be best if you use the most well-known ones like Chrome, Safari, and Edge. In the address bar, type 192.168.123.254 or 192.168.1.1, then click Enter on your keyboard. Make sure to type the correct IP address so you can reach the login page successfully.

If you have other brands of routers at home and you want to log in to the admin settings, here are the IP addresses you may use:

Step 3: Enter the Username and Password
In the third step, you will have to enter your username and password, so if you haven’t changed them previously, you can use the default login details. You can find this information on the back of the router. In the fields provided on the login page, input the username and password, then hit the Login or Sign in button.

Step 4: Successfully Logged In
Once you have entered the correct username and password, you will be redirected to the admin panel where you can see the router settings. You must configure the important ones like WLAN, WiFi channels, and other default settings. By doing this, you will be able to protect your WiFi network and eliminate those intruders and unauthorized users who connect without your permission.

How to Change SSID Name and WiFi Password
As mentioned above, the WLAN settings should be configured in order to make sure your network is secured from unknown connections. This is especially true if your router is new and still has the default settings. When you change the WiFi password, you can ensure that no one can connect to your network besides your household.

- Once you are logged in, select the WLAN > WLAN Basic Settings.
- Choose 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz.
- Enter your new SSID name in the SSID field.
- Click Apply Changes.

- Select Security.
- In the Pre-Shared Key, enter your new WiFi password.
- Click Apply Changes.
Troubleshooting Common Login Issues
While the login steps are easy to perform, you may encounter some issues sometimes. Here are some of the issues you need to be aware of and how you can fix them:
- Can’t connect to the network: You may probably can’t log in simply because you’re not connected to the router’s network. Make sure your device is connected to the router either through Wi-Fi or, if possible, with an Ethernet cable. Wired connections tend to be more stable, so if you’re having trouble with Wi-Fi, switching to Ethernet can help.
- The login page won’t load: If the login page isn’t showing up, double-check the IP address you entered. Do not enter the IP address in the search bar, as it won’t work. Also, watch for small typos like extra dots, wrong numbers, or mixing up digits.
- The browser is not working properly: Sometimes, your browser can be the reason that is why you cannot reach the login page. If the login page still won’t load, try switching to a different browser like Chrome or Edge. Also, you can clear the cache and cookies, then refresh the page.
- Login details not accepted: If you’re sure you’re using the correct login details but it’s still not working, check the sticker on the back of your router. That’s where the default username and password are usually printed. If you’ve tried those and still can’t get in, the router may need a reset.
