Re.tenda.cn is what you need to access in your browser if you want to reach the web user interface of Tenda Range Extender. This is essential in setting up and changing the default settings of the range extender to protect your WiFi network.
How to Log in to Setup Tenda Range Extender
When you first acquired your Tenda Range Extender you need to set it up so you can extend the network in your house. To do it, just follow the steps below:
Step 1: Connect Your Device to the Range Extender
First, you need to connect your device to the range extender’s network. You can use your laptop, mobile or PC. The easiest way is to connect via wireless WiFi. Just go to Internet and Network Settings on your device, search for something like ” SSID Name Tenda_XXXXXX, then connect to it.

Step 2: Open a Browser
Next, open your web browser; it could be Chrome, Edge or Safari. Anything will do as long as it it can take you to the login page. In the address bar, type http://re.tenda.cn/ or http://192.168.0.254/. Make sure the details are correct then press Enter.

Step 3: Select a WiFi Name to Extend
After that select the WiFi name you want to extend then click Next. Enter the WiFi password of the SSID name you selected.

Uncheck the radio button if you don’t want to use the same password as your Base Station WiFi Name.

On the WiFi Name of tthe Extender field, enter your new WiFi name. In the WiFi Password of the Extender field, enter your new password, then click Finish.

Wait a moment until the led indicator of the Tenda extender flashes. This means that the connection has been stablished. Congrats! Your extender is now working and extending your WiFi network.

Note: You can use the steps above to set up Tenda A9, A15, A301, A18, A21, A27, and A33 Wi-Fi Range Extenders.
How to Reset Your Tenda Extender
If you forgot your password, you can reset your Tenda extender to restore its settings to default. To do this:

- Plug in the extender to the power source.
- Locate the reset button on the back of the device. Press and hold the button for at least 10 seconds using a pin.
- Wait for the Tenda extender to reboot on its own and that’s it!
Common Set up Issues and Solutions
When setting up your Tenda extender, you may experience some issues. But if you are aware of these problems, you’ll be able to resolve them immediately. Here are some of the common issues you may face and their solutions:
- Incorrect username and password: If you face this issue, all you have to do is reset your extender by pressing and holding the reset button for at least 10 seconds.
- Connectivity issues: Check if your PC or laptop is connected to the internet properly before the set up. You have two options; via Ethernet cable or via WiFi network.
