The login process of Rogers modems is almost the same whether you own different router brands or models. Here are the steps you can follow:

Step 1: Connect the Device to the Modem

The first step is to connect your PC, laptop, or mobile device to the modem. Whether you use wired or wireless, make sure you have a proper connection to the router. Check if the ethernet is loose and if the WiFi provides a stable signal within the right range.

Step 2: Launch your Browser

On your device, open the browser and type 192.168.0.1 into the address bar. After making sure the IP address is correct, hit Enter. To prevent browser incompatibility issues, use popular browsers such as Chrome, Edge, and Safari.

Step 3: Input your Login Credentials

In this step, you have to enter your username and password in the fields on the login page. Enter your login credentials correctly to prevent you from locking out for some time. You can double-check the back of your router for the default login details. But if you have changed them in the past, use your new login details.

For Hitron:

1. Open your browser and type 192.168.0.1 in the address bar. Click the Login button after.
2. Enter the username and password, then click LOGIN.
3. In the admin panel, select Wireless > Basic Settings > 2.4G. If you want to change the 5 GHz network, then select the 5G settings.
4. Enter your new network name in the Network Name (SSID) field.
5. In the Password field, enter your new password. Make sure to create a strong password by combining numbers, upper and lower case, and special characters.
6. Click Save Changes.

For Cisco DPC3825:

1. Open your browser, type 192.168.0.1 in the address bar, then click Enter.
2. Enter your username and password on the login page, and then click Log In.
3. In the admin panel, select Wireless>Basic Settings.
4. In the Wireless Network Name (SSID) field, enter your new SSID name.
5. Click Save Settings.

To change the WiFi password:

1. Go to Wireless Security.
2. In the Pre-Shared Key field, enter your new password.
3. Click Save Settings.

For SMC SMCD3GN:

1. Open your browser, type 192.168.0.1 in the address bar, then press Enter.
2. On the login page, enter your username and password, then click Login.
3. From the admin menu, select Wireless.
4. In the SSID field, enter your new network name.
5. Click APPLY.

To change the WiFi password:

1. From the admin menu, select Wireless>Encryption
2. Under WPA-Personal, enter your new password using the pre-shared key.
3. Click APPLY.

How to Reset Your Rogers Modem

For whatever reason, you may want to reset your Rogers modem; you can follow the steps below:

1. Locate the reset button at the back of the modem.
2. Press and hold it for about 30 seconds, then let go.
3. The green light on the top of the modem will flash, indicating the modem is being reset.
4. The modem will turn off and on until it establishes a stable connection, and that’s it!

• The page cannot be reached: You cannot reach the admin page if your device is disconnected from the router. Check if the ethernet is loosened and tighten it. If using WiFi, check if the signal is within the right range.
• The page does not load: If you encounter this issue, it means that the IUP address is wrong. Make sure to check the router’s back to see if you are entering the right IP address.
• IP conflicts: If there are multiple devices using the same IP address, it can block you from accessing your modem’s admin panel. Restart all the devices to assign different IP addresses to each device.
