- Enter the username and password, then click LOGIN.
- In the admin panel, select Wireless > Basic Settings > 2.4G. If you want to change the 5 GHz network, then select the 5G settings.
- Enter your new network name in the Network Name (SSID) field.
- In the Password field, enter your new password. Make sure to create a strong password by combining numbers, upper and lower case, and special characters.
- Click Save Changes.
For Cisco DPC3825:
- Open your browser, type 192.168.0.1 in the address bar, then click Enter.
- Enter your username and password on the login page, and then click Log In.
- In the admin panel, select Wireless>Basic Settings.
- In the Wireless Network Name (SSID) field, enter your new SSID name.
- Click Save Settings.
- Go to Wireless Security.
- In the Pre-Shared Key field, enter your new password.
- Click Save Settings.
For SMC SMCD3GN:
- Open your browser, type 192.168.0.1 in the address bar, then press Enter.
- On the login page, enter your username and password, then click Login.
- From the admin menu, select Wireless.
- In the SSID field, enter your new network name.
- Click APPLY.
To change the WiFi password:
- From the admin menu, select Wireless>Encryption
- Under WPA-Personal, enter your new password using the pre-shared key.
- Click APPLY.
How to Reset Your Rogers Modem
For whatever reason, you may want to reset your Rogers modem; you can follow the steps below:
- Locate the reset button at the back of the modem.
- Press and hold it for about 30 seconds, then let go.
- The green light on the top of the modem will flash, indicating the modem is being reset.
