Step 3: Enter Your Login Details

The steps vary depending on the model and brand of your Sercomm router. For the common Sercomm routers, you may follow the steps below”
SERCOMM CG-24D Converge:
- Login to the router settings.
- On the dashboard, select WLAN > WLAN Basic Settings.
- Enter your new WiFi name in the SSID field.
- Click Apply Changes.
To change the WiFi password:
- On the dashboard select Security > WLAN Security Settings.
- Enter the new WiFi password in the Pre Shared Key field.
- Click Apply Changes.
For Sercomm S3 AC2100 Etisalat:
- Log in to the router settings.
- On the dashboardd, select WiFi.
- In the Wi-Fi Name (SSID) field, enter your new WiFi name.
- Click the Wireless Password under Display Characters.
- In the Password field, enter your new password.
- Re-enter your new WiFi password in the Re-enter Password field.
- Click Change.
How to Reset Your Sercomm Router
If you encounter some issue during login resetting your router may help. To perform the reset, here what you need to do:
- Locate the reset button typically on the back of the router.
- When you found it, press and hold it for at least 10 seconds then release.
- You will notice the indicator light will begin flashing. That is an indication that the router is resetting.
- Wait for the router to fully reboot and return the network to its stable state.
Common Sercomm Login Issues and Solutions

- Incorrect username and password: This issue will pops up when you enter the wrong login details in the login page. if you don’t know what the default logins are, you may check the back of your router. - Cannot reach the login page: You will never reach the login page no matter how you try if the IP address you entered is wrong. Typically Sercomm router use the IP addresses 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.1.1. If theses doesn’t work, you can also verify the correct IP address for your router at its back.
- Too many login attempts: This happens when you entered the wrong login details for many times. When you entered the details incorrectly for three consecutive time, you will be locked out from entering the details. Just wait for the lock out time to pass and try logging in again but with this time, with the correct details.
- IP conflicts: This issue take place when all the devices in your household are using the same IP address. To fix this issue, all you have to do is restart the devices to automatically assign a different IP address to each of them.
