Common Login Issues and Troubleshooting
When logging in to your router or extender via the sitecom.ext, you may sometimes face some login issues. Here are some of the common issues and how you can address them:
- Incorrect login details: You can fix this issue by checking the back of your router for the correct default login credentials. If you have changed them in the past, ensure that you enter them correctly on the login page. If you forgot them already, resetting your router is your last resort.
- Network issues: This happens when the Ethernet cable is not connected properly or your device is not connected to the WiFi. To fix this, double-check if you are getting a good signal regardless of the connection method you use. Also, make sure that your extender or router is proper location without obstructions like thick walls and electric appliances.
- Problem loading the page: If you cannot reach the login page, this may be caused by the wrong IP address. Verify that the IP address you use is associated with the router. You can check the router itself or search for the default IP addresses online.
