Viettel router login lets you access your router’s administration page. When you log in at http://192.168.1.1, you can set up your router’s default and essential settings to enhance and protect your WiFi network.

Step 1: Connect your Device to the Router

The first thing you need to do is connect your device to the router. Using an ethernet cable commnect the device to the rouiyer. You can also connect via wireless router. Whatever means you refer, make sure a proper connection.

Step 2: Open your Browser

In the next step, you have to open your device browser. It could be Chrome, Edge, or Safari. In the address bar of the browser, enter 192.168.1.1 and press Enter. Always check if the IP address is correctly entered to prevent login issues from occurring.

How to Change SSID Name and WiFi Password

Configuring your WiFi settings is important in terms of protecting your WiFi network from those who want to access it without permission. To change the WiFi password and SSID name, follow these steps:

1. Open the browser in your device and type 192.168.1.1 in the address bar. On your keyboard, press the Enter key.
2. On the login page, enter your username and password, then click Login.
3. In the web user interface, select WiFi Setup>WiFi 2.4 GHz Settings.
4. In the SSID field, enter your new network name.
5. In the Pre-Shared Key field, enter your new password.
6. Click Save.

How to Reset Your Viettel Router

Here are the steps you can follow if you want to reset your route to its factory default settings:

1. Look for the reset button at the back of the router.
2. You can use a paper clip or a pin to press and hold the button for 10 to 15 seconds.
3. Keep holding until the front lights blink, then let go.
4. Wait until the router establishes a stable connection, and that’s it!

Viettel Router Login Issues and Solutions

When you encounter issues during login, do not worry, as you can address them with the proper solutions below:

• Wrong username and password: You can face this issue when you have entered the incorrect login details. Check for the correct login credentials at the back of the router and login again. If the details are still wrong then you might have changed them in the past. For this to resolve, reset your router to factory settings.
• Your connection is not private: Often you will be prompted  If prompted “Your connection is not private”, but do not worry, just click on the ADVANCED button and select Proceed to 192.168.1.1 (unsafe).
• Too many login attempts: Do not enter the same wrong username and password if you are unsure they’re correct. Instead, check for default details on the back of the router for verification. Wait for 60 seconds to try logging in again.
• The page cannot be reached: You won’t be able to access the login page if your device is disconnected from the router. Make sure the ethernet is adequately linked or you are connected to the correct WiFi Network.
