Wavlink router login lets you access the admin interface of your router. When you log in at http://wifi.wavlink.com or http://192.168.10.1, you can configure the default and essential settings of the router, including the SSID Name and WiFi password.
How to Login to Wavlink Router
There are many things you can do with your Wavlink router when you log in to the administration panel. For those who find the process challenging, do not worry; just follow the steps below, and you can log in in no time.
Step 1: Connect the Device to the Router
Whether you are using a laptop, PC, or mobile phone to log in, make sure that it is connected to the router. If you prefer to use a wired connection, checking the ethernet for proper connection is required. For a wireless connection, verify if the WiFi network has a good signal.
Step 2: Open your Browser
After verifying a proper connection, open the browser on your device (Chrome, Edge, Safari). In the address bar, type http://wifi.wavlink.com or http://192.168.10.1. Make sure to type correctly to save time. Log in, then press Enter.
Step 3: Enter your Login Credentials
You will be redirected to the login page after you enter the correct IP address or link in your browser. You need to fill in the fields from the login page with your username and password. There are Wavlink routers that don’t require a username, just like WAVLINK QUANTUM DAX. For the default password, use “admin.”
Step 4: You will be Logged in to the Admin Panel
When you enter your correct login details on the login page, you will be taken to the administration panel. In the interface, you will see tabs and settings that you can configure. Make sure to start by changing the Wireless settings to protect your WiFi network.
How to Change SSID Name and Password
The Wireless settings should be prioritized when configuring your router. For WAVLINK QUANTUM DAX, here are the steps to change the WiFi password and SSID name.
Note: Create a strong password for 2.4 GHz and 5GHz so you can have a more secure network.
How to Reset Your Wavlink Router
If you forgot your password, you can reset your router to its factory default settings, and you can use the default login details again. To do it, follow the steps:
- Locate the reset button at the back of your router.
- Using a pointed object, press and hold it for 6 seconds, then let go.
- You will see the lights flash on and off.
- When the lights are solid, this means the reset is complete.
How to Solve Wavlink Router Login Issues
At times, you may fail to access the administration interface of your router. Some common log-in problems and their solution include:
- Wrong Username and Password: There is a possibility that it is difficult for you to sign in due to using an incorrect username or password. If you have forgotten the default credentials, check the paperwork that came with your router or locate the label on it indicating the details of the default login. On top of that, by performing a factory reset on this router, its customized settings will be wiped away, such as when the information has been changed.
- Browser issues: Browser-related issues could be another reason why the router’s login page might not open correctly. You can solve this issue by trying out another browser like Chrome, Firefox, or Edge. In case you are still facing a similar problem, clear cache and cookies from browser options or use incognito mode.
- Wrong IP Address: Wavlink routers are addressed at 192.168.10.1 or 192.168.0.1. Just confirm whether what you typed into your browser’s address bar is actually correct regarding this IP address before considering other options that could require you to check in order to ensure that the gateway IP address of the device matches up well with these defaults.
- Issues with Network Connection: Unless your device has been properly connected to your router’s network, accessing the login page won’t be possible at all! When doing so, ensure that either by Ethernet cable or via Wi-Fi, the computer/mobile phone is in the same network as this wireless router. In the case of Wi-Fi, make sure that you are on the correct network and that it is very strong.
- Firmware Update: Login issues usually arise as a result of outdated firmware. To fix this problem, ensure to update your router firmware properly. Then, look for manual update instructions from the manufacturer’s website if you cannot access this screen during login.
- IP Address Conflict: Sometimes accessing the routers’ login page can also be hindered due to IP conflicts within our network itself; thus, it is often resolved by restarting both devices simultaneously (router & user device).
