Wireless@SG gives you free public Wi-Fi access across Singapore, so you can stay connected while you’re on the move. Whether you’re using a phone, laptop, or tablet, getting started is simple. You can log in manually using a browser or set up automatic access using the Wireless@SGx app.

How to Connect to Wireless@SG

To use the free Wi-Fi, you’ll need to connect to the Wireless@SG network and log in with your mobile number. Here’s how:

Step 1: Connect to the Network

The first step is to connect to the Wireless@SG network. So, from your device, go to Wi-Fi settings, scan available networks, and connect to Wireless@SG.

Step 2: Enter Your Mobile Number

Your browser will automatically open the login page. If you are using a SIM card from another country, you need to select the country. Enter your mobile number in the Mobile number field and confirm by retyping it in the Confirm mobile number field. After that, enter the verification code you see on the left side in the Verification Code field. Check the box to agree to the terms and conditions, then click Confirm.

Step 3: Enter the OTP

You’ll receive a one-time password (OTP) via SMS. Input it on the page and click Sign In.

Step 4: You’re Connected and Online

You’ll be connected to the Wireless@SG network and can now browse for free.

How to Set up Wireless@SG

Wireless@SG can be installed on various devices such as Android, IOS, and Windows. To perform it, depending on your device and operating system, you may follow the steps below:

For Windows:

  1. Go to https://go.gov.sg/wsgx or scan the QR code.
  2. You will be landed on the landing page.
  3. Select the Device without a local SIM option.
  4. Select “Windows” in the “Operating System” option.
  5. Tap ‘Create Profile’ if you are a new user, otherwise tap ‘Reset Profile’.
  6. Read the terms and conditions, then tap ‘Accept’ to continue.
  7. Choose any one of the Wireless@SG operators.
  8. Set your birthdate and enter your mobile number.
  9. Agree to the terms and conditions by checking the box.
  10. Enter the Captcha and tap ‘Next’ to continue.
  11. Enter the OTP you received on your mobile number, then click ‘Next’.
  12. Copy the username and password provided.

To log in:

  1. Go to Network & Internet Settings of your device
  2. Go to Wi-Fi and show available networks.
  3. Select the Wireless@SGx and connect to it.
  4. Enter the username and password you copied earlier.
  5. Click OK and enjoy seamless connection to Wireless@SGx.

For Android with SIM:

  1. Go to https://go.gov.sg/wsgx or scan the QR code
  2. On the next page, select Device with local SIM.
  3. Select Android for the operating system option.
  4. Click Accept on the Read Terms and Conditions page.
  5. On your Android device, go to Settings > WiFi Settings.
  6. Select the Wireless@SG network and connect to it.

For Android with no SIM:

  1. Go to https://go.gov.sg/wsgx or scan the QR code.
  2. On the next page, select Device without local SIM.
  3. Select Android/Chrome OS and Other Operating Systems for the operating system option.
  4. On the next page, select Create Profile if you are a new user.
  5. Tap Accept to the Terms of Use & Privacy Policy.
  6. You will be prompted to choose any of the Wireless@SG operators from the given options.
  7. On the same page, enter your birthdate and mobile number.
  8. Check the box to accept the Terms and Conditions, then click Continue.
  9. Enter the OTP you received and tap Next.
  10. Copy the username and password as well as the Domain name.

To add the network:

  1. Go to your device Settings.
  2. Go to Wi-Fi Settings.
  3. If the Wireless@SG is not visible in the list of available networks, click Add Network.
  4. In the Network Name field, enter Wireless@SGx.
  5. In the Security option, choose WPA/WPA2/WPA3-Enterprise.
  6. In the Identity field, paste the username you copied earlier.
  7. In the Password field, enter the password you copied earlier.
  8. Enter the Domain name in the Domain field.
  9. Click View more to see the continue button.
  10.  For the EAP method, select ‘PEAP’
  11. For Phase 2 authentication, select ‘MSCHAPV2’
  12. Save the settings and you’re done.

For IOS with no SIM

  1. Go to go.gov.sg/wsgx or scan the QR code.
  2. Select Device without local SIM.
  3. Tap iOS/iPadOS/MacOS.
  4. If you’re new, tap Create Profile; otherwise, select Reset Profile.
  5. Agree to the Terms of Use & Privacy Policy.
  6. Choose any Wireless@SG provider (it doesn’t have to be your mobile operator).
  7. Enter your birth date and mobile number.
  8. Tick the checkbox, complete the Captcha, and tap Next.
  9. You’ll receive an SMS with a One-Time Password (OTP); enter it and hit Next.
  10. Tap Download Wireless@SGx Wi‑Fi Profile.
  11. When prompted, hit Allow to download the profile.
  12. Tap Close, then open your Settings app.

To install the profile:

  1. On your IOS device, go to General > VPN & Device Management.
  2. Tap Wireless@SGx, then Install.
  3. Enter your device passcode.
  4. Tap Install, then Done.

To connect to the Wireless@SG network, go to a Wireless@SG hotspot, open Wi‑Fi settings, and select Wireless@SGx. Once completed, your device will automatically connect to Wireless@SGx hotspots when in range. Enjoy seamless and secure public Wi‑Fi!
