For Zyxel VMG Series:
- On the admin panel, select Wireless
- Choose the band (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz) you want to change the SSID name and password.
- In the Wireless Network Name field, enter your new SSID name.
- Scroll down and uncheck the Generate password automatically to be able to change the Wi-Fi password.
- In the Password field, enter your new Wi-Fi password.
- Click Apply.
Resetting your Zyxel Router
If you encounter issues with your Zyxel router, do not fret because you can fix them just by resetting it to factory default settings. Please note that any changes you have made to the router will be removed, and all the settings will be set to default. If you are ready to reset your router, here are the steps you can follow:
- Look for the reset button on the back of your router.
- When found, press and hold it for 20 seconds using a SIM card pin or any pointed object.
- After 20 seconds, let go of the button and place it on a proper and flat surface.
- Wait for all the LED indicator lights to switch on and get stable.
