1. Open your browser and go to http://192.168. 40.1, then click Enter.
2. Enter your username and password in the fields on the login page. If you haven’t changed it in the past, use the default credentials: Username: “admin.” For password: the Preshared Key is located at the back of the modem.
3. When successfully logged in, go to Wireless > Wireless 2.4 GHz.
4. Change the existing SSID name and Preshared key to whatever you like, but make sure to create a strong password to protect your WiFi network.
5. Click Apply.
6. Go to Wireless 5 GHz
7. Enter your desired SSID name and Preshared key like you did in the 2.4 GHz band.
8. Click Apply.

For Cisco

1. Open your browser and go to http://192.168. 40.1, then click Enter.
2. Enter your username and password in the fields on the login page.
3. Go to Quick setup
4. Enter your desired SSID name in the field for Network Name (SSID).
5. In the field for Passphrase, enter your desired password.
6. Click Save Settings.

How to Reset Your Modem

You can also reset your router or modem by accessing the web interface. To do it, follow the steps below:

1. Open your browser and type 192.168.40.1 in the address bar.
2. Log in using your username and password.
3. The reset settings may vary depending on the settings of your modem.
4. Look for the Factory Defaults and Click it.

You can also reset your modem without accessing the web interface. To do it:

1. Locate the reset button at the back of your modem.
2. Press and hold the reset button using a paper clip for 15 to 20 seconds.
